1. About Aura Farm and these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of aurafarmvirginia.org (the “Site”) and any related requests, reservations, donations, and sponsorships offered by Aura Farm (“Aura Farm,” “we,” “us,” “our”).

By accessing or using the Site, submitting a form, making a donation, starting a monthly sponsorship, or requesting a cottage stay, you agree to these Terms.

2. What we offer

➤ Scheduled farm visits (including foster program visits)

➤ Farm cottage reservations (by reservation only)

➤ Donations and monthly horse sponsorships

3. Visits and farm access

➤ Visits are scheduled in advance, and some visits are arranged only through approved partners and organizations.

➤ We may approve, deny, reschedule, or cancel visits for safety, privacy, weather, animal welfare, staffing, or operational reasons.

4. Cottage reservations

➤ Cottage stays are by reservation only.

➤ Reservation requests are not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from Aura Farm.

➤ Guests must follow house rules provided before or at check-in.

➤ You are responsible for your party’s conduct, any damage, and any extra cleaning beyond normal use.

➤ We may refuse or end a stay if rules are violated or safety is at risk.

5. Donations and monthly sponsorships

➤ Donations and sponsorship payments support Aura Farm’s mission and animal care.

➤ Monthly sponsorships are recurring until canceled.

➤ Donor/sponsor updates and sponsor packets are provided as described at the time of giving; timing and format may vary.

➤ Refunds: donations are generally nonrefundable, except for duplicate charges, processing errors, or as required by law.

6. Communications and consent

If you provide a phone number or email, you consent to receive communications about your inquiry, reservations, donations, sponsorships, and related updates. If you opt in to text messaging, message and data rates may apply and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP (where applicable).

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

➤ Attempt to disrupt or compromise the Site’s security or functionality

➤ Scrape, harvest, or misuse information from the Site

➤ Submit false information or impersonate others

➤ Use the Site for unlawful purposes

8. Intellectual property

All Site content (text, photos, design, branding) is owned by Aura Farm or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without written consent.

9. Safety, assumption of risk, and conduct

Farm environments include inherent risks (animals, uneven ground, fences, weather, insects, farm equipment). You agree to follow posted rules and staff guidance. Aura Farm may require additional waivers for on-site visits or stays.

10. Third-party services

Payments, forms, email delivery, analytics, and scheduling may be handled by third-party providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content, or that information will always be current.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aura Farm will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, visits, cottage stays, donations, or sponsorships.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Aura Farm harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or conduct during visits or stays.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” will reflect the latest version.

16. Governing law and venue
